The Eldership of the Murfreesboro Church of Christ, which is over Barton Bible Camp, has established the following rules and believe they are necessary to the running of an effective camp that will contribute to the spiritual welfare of each camper:
1. Clothing must be modest:
-No tank tops/sleeveless shirts, low cut dresses, see-through tops, or items intentionally disfigured or ripped.
-Shorts must be at least fingertip length.
-Leggings, tights, yoga pants or other form fitting bottoms may not be worn as pants.
-Suggestive logos, concert/band shirts, or politically-related shirts are not permitted.
-Appropriate clothing/undergarment coverage is required to keep all private areas concealed.
-Swimsuits should be as modest as possible. Regular clothing and shoes must be worn over swimsuits when going to and from the lake.
-Campers must be fully clothed when traveling between bathhouses and cabins.
-Camp leadership reserves the right to use their discretion, and violation of any/all parts of the camp dress code may result in a camper being sent home.
2. There will be no mixed swimming of boys and girls together. Each will have separate daily swim times (during summer weeks).
3. No tobacco of any kind or vaping is allowed.
4. No illegal or controlled substances are allowed on campgrounds. Local law enforcement will be notified if found.
5. No pets allowed.
6. No cellphones, electronic devices, bicycles, or fireworks should be brought to camp.
7. If cellphones, vape-pens, tobacco products, or alcohol are found after the start of camp, this will be grounds for immediate dismissal.
8. Directors of each session may have additional rules/guidelines. These will be communicated to the campers at the beginning of the session and enforced accordingly.
